Trina Medina

The Venezuelan singer Trina Medina is preparing for the release of her fifth studio album. Claroscuro that is already available for download in iTunes.

This new album contains ten songs true to her style with the typical sounds of the Caribbean and merging with jazz and blues, two musical genres that have influenced the singer in her career.

This album is “a story that narrates episodes of disagreements, passions, broken dreams, longings, disclaimers, rebirth and faith in the future; Viewed from the perspective of a dreamer, earthy, visionary and genuine at the same time, “says the Venezuelan singer on her website, adding that “Claroscuro is nothing but a manifesto of loneliness and faith. ”

Medina wrote each of the songs her new album with the exception of one that is written by an educator, poet and journalist Venezuelan Jesus Rosas Marcano, who died in 2001.
