New Jowell y Randy album produced by Bad Bunny

Jowell y Randy released “Anaranjado” last month as a preview of their new album Viva el Perreo.  “Anaranjado,” was made in collaboration with Colombian reggaetonero J Balvin.  Bad bunny debuted as a producer for the album.

Bad Bunny’s YHLQMDLG can be felt on Viva El Perreo. Jowell y Randy’s “Bien Arrebatao,” with Puerto Rican rapper Miky Woodz, has shades of “Safaera.” That throwback perreo vibe that Benito revived is alive and well on “A Mí Sí Me Gusta,” Jowell y Randy’s banger with Puerto Rican singer Barbie Rican. Other reggaetón greats on the album include Don Omar and De La Ghetto.

Viva El Perreo also has hints of dembow with “Se Acabó La Cuarentena.” Jowell y Randy team up with Dominican star Kiko El Crazy.  This is sure to be  a club anthem for post-pandemic times.

Jowell y Randy’s Viva El Perreo is the perfect inaugural is a worthy perreo follow-up to YHLQMDLG.

We leave you with Anaranjado for your listening pleasure.
