Shakira and J Balvin

Colombia is the birthplace of great stars of Latin music but certainly this has been the year for two of its singers. Shakira and J Balvin have been two of the most successful artists in Venezuela, Argentina, Puerto Rico, among other countries. Their latest hits in 2014 were the most viewed on YouTube.

Within 25 most watched 2014 videos, two are of Shakira. The first is “Can’t remember to forget you” theme that plays by the Barbadian singer Rihanna and reached more than 450 million views on Youtube. Her second most viewed video is “La la la”, the official song of the World Cup Brazil 2014, with over 426 million views.

On the other hand, reggaeton star J Balvin also part of this select list by YouTube as the Colombian won with his song “6:00 a.m.” which has the support of Farruko. The video already has over 159 million views.
