Mexican pop rock band Moderatto adds to the television success of Senorita Polvora, a co-production of Sony and Televisa and airs on TNT. The musicians remixed the ’60s hit “Polvora” especially for this great miniseries recreating the spirit of the original hit.

The renowned Mexican group was hired by the channel to remix this classic song that was originally recorded by Los Locos del Ritmo, a pioneer band in Latin rock.

“I find it incredible to remix ” Polvora “, and in my case, since my father was one of the pioneers of rock and roll (Javier de la Cueva) and grew up listening to this song. I love being able to do it with the band, ” said Brian Amadeus, Moderatto’s singer as they are preparing for the band’s show June 7 at the National Auditorium in Mexico.

For his part, Gerardo Kerik, VP Marketing & Brand Management of Turner Broadcasting System LA said: “It really was a pleasure to work with the members of this talented band.”
