Amaia Montero and Ubago Alex

Two powerful voices join in a new song that promises a lot of romance. Spanish Amaia Montero and Ubago Alex met to begin work on a new version of “Los Abrazos Rotos”, included on the album, Si Dios Quiere Yo Tambien by Montero.

It is not the first time that the singers have done a duet. They have already done one, exactly 15 years ago, with “Sin Miedo a Nada” which became a huge success.

“A magical moment, a very strong connection; it had to be Alex, couldn’t be anyone else,” said Montero on this new project.

Meanwhile, Ubago added that “it is a sound characteristic of both, in line with their first duet 15 years ago.”

Si Dios Quiere Yo También is the third solo studio album from the Spaniard and was released in May last year.
