Yandel speaks about split with Wisin

The duo Wisin and Yandel have tried to keep their break up hush, going  as far as their manager Edgar Andino coming out earlier this month to deny rumours.  However Yandel has finally opened up about his split from Wisin.

The duo started dominating the reggaeton scene in 2005 and romours started surfacing last year that Wisin was jealous of Yandel starting his solo career and things went downhill from there.

Yandel however came out and clarified that those rumours are false and told El Nuevo Dia that the group split due to other issues primarily having to do with management:

“[Wisin and I] have a great relationship. The problem was the team, I would even go as far as saying that it was the management side of things. Now I’m running with my own team and I’m super happy.”

Yandel has completed his solo tour this year and Wisin is currently working on a solo album of his own.
