2013 is here and you could not have asked for a better way to end 2012 than being at the Toronto Salsa Ball with such great hosts, Sarah and Melyssa, from POSE dance school that made everyone feel like a star!  They were so bubbly, full of energy and made sure everyone had a great time.

It was definitely a night of glitz and glamour.  I mean where else do you get performances, plenty of champagne at midnight, 2 rooms – one spinning club anthems and the other salsa hits, a lot of great prizes and of course beautiful people.  To top it all off, you couldn’t feel like a star without a loot bag filled with goodies worth over $200 for everyone…believe me, I was skeptical until I saw what was in the bag…ranging from water bottles, t-shirts, free salsa class passes, gift certificates and so much more.

The party really took off at around 10:30 when there was an influx of people and the dance floor really heat up.  There were novice to advanced dancers and watching the dancers became a show all on it’s own. Although there was also a top 40 room, most of the people seemed to congregate to the much larger Salsa room but it was nice to have that option for those that wanted English club anthems.  Both DJs were great and really rocked the house.

Overall it was a great party with no attitude and just people dancing the night away and having lots of fun as we welcomed 2013.  Definitely a highly recommended party and looking forward to Toronto Salsa Ball 2013.
