Toronto Artist Project 2012. And my favourite is…?
My Salsa Girl – Tone
Artistry like dancing requires creativity and passion. We had the opportunity to attend The Artist Project 2012 in Toronto this past week. I must say that as I entered the room I was just overcome by the talent, the art, the creativity and just the fact that how each artist was just so different but great.
To tour the works of all the artist booths took about 1.5 hours, and I must say hours well spent. The only thing I wish was that I had the money to buy my favourite painting by Tone who hails from Montreal. It was just an incredible fusion of bright colors, passion, hot and sexy…all the things that make salsa dancing ‘caliente’!
Although I singled out Tone, Theodora Roman did not let me down with her representation of romanticism that came through in her paintings.
Overall The Artist Project 2012 was a great success with incredible pieces of art that one could purchase on the spot. The other nice thing was that you were actually able to talk to all the artists to hear about the inspiration for their paintings. Check out our Photo Gallery to see more shots from the show.
My favourite painting was the work by Tone from Montreal that I have coined as ‘My Salsa Girl’ and was worth a cool $4000.00!
