The Scotiabank Chin International festival kicked off today.  We missed the Miss Chin Bikini contest but the beautiful Cassandra Bella was crowned Miss Chin 2012. 

We did however get to watch some boxing, acrobats, and of course be part of the Hispanic festival at Chin.  There were some great latin bands playing and it was obvious that it was a latin stage because there was dancing, energy and the vibe that goes on in such festivals.  The most impressive was to see this lady way in her sixties totally tearing it up with her friends for over two hours that we were there!  Salsa keeps the spirit alive no matter your age.

It was a great first day and don’t miss it as it goes on for the whole long weekend.
